Henry C. Garnett Water Purification Plant Expansion Upgrades Project
 

Project Description: Construction Costs: $67,250,000.00
Mimiaga Engineering Group is currently providing Construction Management and Inspection services to the Kern County Water Agency, Improvement District No. 4. The project will double the water purification plant’s peak capacity from 45 MGD to 90 MGD. The project includes a new raw water pump station, flocculation sedimentation basins, filters, clearwell and chemical building. Once the new treatment process train is operational, the existing 45 MGD treatment facility will be shutdown and entirely renovated.
The project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2010.
