HALEY / DE LA VINA BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

Project Description: Mimiaga Engineering Group provided Construction Management and Inspection services for the $5M replacement of the Haley/De La Vina Bridge originally constructed in 1915. The project including a temporary dam in Mission Creek and a temporary diversion pipe. The project included a significant environmental compliance effort. The project was located in a publicly sensitive area surrounded by businesses and vocal residents. The project required closure of the intersection for 18 months and a proactive public outreach effort. The project was completed successfully with the eventual appreciation from the neighborhood.
