LOMPOC REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT

Mimiaga Engineering Group provided Construction Management services on the $88M project as a subconsultant to Brown and Caldwell. The large and very complex project included renovating and upgrading the facility while maintaining operation without permit violations. The new facility was completed in 2010. The project included: new Influent Pumping Station, Grit removal and Dewatering System, Oxidation Ditches, Dissolved Air Floatation Thickeners, Secondary Clarifiers, Secondary Effluent Equalization Basin, Tertiary Filtration System, Ultraviolet Disinfection System, Standby Generator (added during project as a Change Order: $1M), Aerobic Digesters (added during project as a Change Order: $4M), complete SCADA System, rehabilitation and integration of existing systems to remain in service during construction including Recycle Water Pumping Station, Effluent Pumping Station, Bar Screens, Sludge Storage Lagoon, other miscellaneous systems.
