AVENUE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
MEMBRANE FILTRATION PROJECT

Mimiaga Engineering Group provided Construction Management and Inspection services to the City of Ventura for their new membrane filtration plant project. The project provides the City an enhanced ability to produce clean drinking water. The project was the largest construction contract in the City’s long history.  The project included: G.E. Zenon Zeeweed 1000 MBR Filtration Plant, Proprietary system procurement in separate contract, Metal building with basement to house the system, Raw water pump station, Membrane reactor basins, Air scour blower system, Chemical Building including chlorine ton cylinder storage and feed facility, Wash Water Recovery Basin and wash water decant pump station, Sludge drying lagoons with underdrain collection services, decommissioning and mothballing of original treatment plant which is a designated historical monument
